Device specification

KEY FEATURES

DESCRIPTION

GNSS-equipped sonobuoy RedBASE as part of a set of four such devices forms a floating long navigation base, which supports the simultaneous positioning of an unlimited number of navigation receivers RedNODE/RedNAV. The device is made in the form of a plastic cylinder with dimensions Ф150х600 mm with a hydroacoustic transmitting antenna on the cable.

It has positive buoyancy, has a load-carrying eye for anchoring.

1 A parameter that determines the maximum range at which a signal can be received, based on electro-acoustic parameters of the transmitter and receiver, spatial decrease in the intensity of sound energy, attenuation in the medium and the acoustic noise level.
2 Buoys are located on the surface of the water as a convex polygon so that the distance from each buoy before any other did not exceed the specified value.
3 The immersion depth of the navigation receivers should not exceed the size of the navigation base.
