Device specification | ## KEY FEATURES * **Minimal size and weight** * **Impact-resistant design, IP67 with the lid closed** * **Long-life built-in LiFePO4 power supply** * **Can be powered from an external power source** * **3 mm thick stainless steel faceplate** ## DESCRIPTION The Bat&Link Box device combines the functions of an autonomous power supply for the direction-finding stations [Zima2-B](Zima2B_Specification_en.md) and [Zima-B](Zima_B_Specification_en.md) and a switching hub for interfacing the station with the user's PC, as well as for connecting sources of heading and position data for the direction-finding station. It contains protection circuits against reverse polarity and overvoltage for the connected devices. The unit is housed in a small impact-resistant plastic case. It has a front panel made of high-quality stainless steel. The modern lithium iron phosphate batteries used in the unit provide operation at sub-zero temperatures and **more than a thousand** charge-discharge cycles. If necessary, the unit can be operated from an external 12 V DC source while the built-in battery is charged from the standard charger.
