RedPhone-DX Underwater telephone. Diver’s unit Device specification |
Diver’s underwater wireless telephone communication unit RedPhone-DX provides voice messaging between divers and/or from a diver to a surface station. The device supports standard frequency bands and is compatible with most similar systems. The built-in pinger function of the navigation system RWLT allows the user to determine the geographic position of the diver after he completes voice transmission. uPress that does not contain corrodable elements can be used as a Push-To-Talk button.

Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for built-in battery
1 The function is provided by buoys of the RWLT navigation system.
2 A parameter that determines the maximum range at which a signal can be received based on the electro-acoustic parameters of the transmitter and receiver, spatial decrease in the intensity of sound energy, attenuation in the medium and level of acoustic noise.
3 Including transducer.
4 With a PTT button and a mask connector, deepending on the specific connector, the value may differ by the weight of the connector.
5 The actual audible frequency range depends on the headset used.
6 With new, fully charged batteries with a capacity of 3000 mA*h or more, at an ambient temperature of 20 °C.
7 While transmitting 2 minutes per 10 minutes.
8 While transmitting 5 minutes per 10 minutes.
