The system is designed for:
Voice messages are transmitted in half-duplex mode by means of acoustic waves propagating in water, using two types of devices: diver stations and surface communication stations. The diver stations are equipped with a button for switching between the “receive” and “transmit” modes and are attached to the tank. The devices are connected to the headset via a watertight connector. The headset contains a microphone and headphones (earphones). The diver stations have a one-piece, maintenance-free monoblock design and switch on upon contact with water. The internal power source is charged using the supplied charging chassis. The surface communication station is made as a plastic case; on its stainless steel front panel there are connectors for the supplied underwater acoustic transducer, the push-to-talk (PTT) handset (a microphone and a button for switching between the “receive” and “transmit” modes) and headphones, as well as the power toggle switch and the knob for volume level and communication channel selection. Both the surface and the diver stations can operate in only one of eight communication channels at a time. Switching between channels in the surface station is performed with the corresponding switch, and in the diver station with the supplied radio dongle using specialized software on a PC.
The diver location function is implemented using the supplied underwater acoustic buoys. When the diver tracking function is active, after a voice transmission ends, when the diver releases the button for switching between the “receive” and “transmit” modes, before the device switches to the “receive” mode, it emits a specialized underwater acoustic navigation signal, which is received by the four supplied buoys deployed in the water area. The buoys have a built-in combined GLONASS/GPS receiver and a radio modem. Having received the underwater acoustic navigation signal from the diver communication station, the buoys determine their own geographic coordinates and the arrival time of the underwater acoustic signal and form a message from these data. A PC with the specialized software installed receives the messages from the buoys via a radio modem and computes the location of the diver, then displays the diver’s position on a map.
The maximum underwater acoustic communication range between the devices of the kit is 1000 m. The diver communication stations have a maximum immersion depth of 70 m. The maximum radio communication range between the surface dive monitoring point and the navigation buoys is 1000 m.

The warranty period for the supplied equipment kit is 24 (twenty-four) months and is counted from the date of actual receipt of the devices by the customer, unless otherwise provided by the contract. If, during the warranty period, defects or latent defects are found in the product (latent defects are defects that could not be detected during a check usual for the given product and were revealed only during operation), the Supplier shall eliminate them at its own expense by repairing the product or replacing it with a new one within a period of no more than 30 (thirty) calendar days and specified in the certificate of transfer of the product for repair. The warranty period for the product is extended by the time during which the product was not used because of the identified defects. The time during which the product was not used is counted from the date of the written notification to the Supplier of the identified defects until the day of receipt of the product under the acceptance certificate after repair (replacement). When the product is replaced, the warranty period for the product is counted anew from the date the parties sign the acceptance certificate after repair (replacement). Delivery of the product for replacement work from the Customer’s premises, and after the work has been completed to the Customer’s warehouse, is carried out using the Customer’s own resources.
The warranty obligations do not apply to the product in the case of:
Devices of the same type are fully interchangeable electrically.
The use of organic solvents and/or aggressive acids and/or alkalis to remove contamination from the surface of the devices and cables is not allowed.
The devices are not rescue or human life-support equipment. Any work using the devices must be performed in strict compliance with the requirements of the Intersectoral rules for diving/underwater operations, as well as the departmental and local regulations in force for the Customer governing diving operations.
